Jacqueline Elizabeth Blaylark Center was the fifth child born to Howard Blaylark and Clara Elizabeth Washington Blaylark on January 13, 1959.

On May 21, 1977, she was joined in holy matrimony to Herbert Barney Center, Jr. and to that union, two sons were born, Stephan Jerome Center and Jarrod Anthony Center of Austin, Texas.

In the early years, Jacqueline professed hope in Christ and was united with Mount Zion Baptist Church where she served as a faithful servant. On September 15, 1974, along with her family, Jacqueline moved her membership to Mount Woodrow Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of her father, the late Reverend Howard Blaylark. Here she served as a faithful member of the choir.
After the death of her Pastor and father, Jacqueline moved her membership back to Mount Zion Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend G. V. Clark where she served as a faithful member of the Fellowship Choir and as a Deaconess until her health began to decline.
Jacqueline worked for the Heart Hospital and for many years with Dell Children’s hospital as a monitor technician.

On December 31, 2019, the Lord called her home from labor to reward to be with him, her father, Howard; her mother, Clara and her two sisters, Joyce and Giselle.

She leaves an abundance of fond memories to be cherished by her husband, Herbert; two sons; Stephan and Jarrod and his wife, Mallory; grandson: Braylon; two brothers: Howard Blaylark and his wife, Delores, Melvin Blaylark and his wife, Dometric; one sister, Diana Blaylark; sister-in-laws: Etta Davis, Jeanette Center, Diane Center; brother-in-law, Elroy Center; aunts: Juanita Smith, Minnie Fowler and Barbara Washington; uncles, Alvin Washington, Raymond Washington and Benny Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
