Our beloved RosaLinda "Dodie" Reyna, age 72, lifelong resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. She was surrounded by love and cherished memories of a life well lived. RosaLinda graduated from Johnston High School in 1971. After graduating she met Jesse at a dance and the rest was history. The two married in 1974 and together built a beautiful life filled with love and devotion. RosaLinda welcomed her greatest joys: her son Chris in 1977 and her daughter Jessica in 1979. RosaLinda found happiness in her role as a grandmother. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, sewing handmade blankets and crafting Halloween costumes that will forever be remembered as gifts of her love. RosaLinda also shared countless unforgettable experiences traveling the world with her devoted husband. RosaLinda’s love, inspiration, and strength will be forever missed, but remembered by her family and friends. The Reyna family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the compassionate team at Suncrest Hospice for their care and support. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reyes De La Cruz and Esther G. De La Cruz; her siblings, Angel De La Cruz, Fidel "Billy" De La Cruz, Pedro "Pete" De La Cruz, Rodolfo "Rudy" De La Cruz, Gilbert De La Cruz, and Esther (Katie) De La Cruz. Rosalinda is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jesse Oscar Reyna; her children, Christopher Paul Reyna (Connie) and Jessica Marie Reyna; her grandchildren, Brianna Rose Rodriguez (Rolando), Kayla Violet Govea, Austin Matthew Reyna, Caden Paul Reyna and Vivienne Faye Reyna; sisters, Linda De La Cruz, Frances Gonzales and Irene De La Cruz; her loving nieces, Patty Torres and Yoli Duran; and many other loving family members and friends. Serving as Pallbearers are Rolando Rodriguez, Austin Reyna, John David De La Cruz, Clarence Torres, and Gilbert De La Cruz. Honorary Pallbearer is Rudy "Boy" De La Cruz. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S 1st Street Austin Texas 78745. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1100 Main St. Buda, Texas 78610 Entombment to follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park Mausoleum, 11610 Chapel Ln. Austin, Texas 78748.
