Our beloved Patsy Escobar Martinez, age 68, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Petra Escobar; her brothers, Gilbert Escobar and Pete Escobar, and brothers-in-law, Victor Gomez and Abel Perez. Patsy is survived by her daughters, Joanne Torres (Mark Fitzgerald) and Rita Martinez (Jennifer Mann); grandchildren, Jacqueline Morales (Jon) and John Paul Perales (Katy Villarreal); great grandchildren, Sophia Morales, Benicio Morales, Mirabelle Morales, Reyna Morales, Kira Morales, and Reign Perales; her sisters, Minnie Gomez, Janie Perez, Mary Beltran (Richard), and Carmen Magness (Kenny), and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Robert T. Martinez & 2nd St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas. Rosary will be live-streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate.
