Delia Ann Rodela, born June 19, 1952 in Austin, Texas passed away peacefully on March 11, 2021 at the age of 68. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Rodela, life partner Juan Ramon Vargas, parents Arnulfo and Rebecca Perez, and brothers Joe Perez and Arnold Perez. She is survived by her son LeRoy Rodela, daughter Angela Gil, granddaughters Isabella and Sofia, sisters Estella (Robert) Vasquez and Lucy (Jessy) Salinas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Delia's spirit was evident in the interests and creative projects she pursued. Her love of gardening, decorating, and above all, music, brought joy and beauty into the lives of those closest to her.
Delia's immense love and passion for music crossed all genres. Born into a musical family with strong Tejano roots, Delia instilled in her children and grandchildren a desire to express their creativity by encouraging all to sing, dance, or play a musical instrument.
Mom, you will be greatly missed, but your influence will stay for generations to come. We Love You.
