Mr. Magdaleno Cordova Reyes

May 29, 1952 –November 28, 2013 A loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Magdaleno C. Reyes, 61, of Buda, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. Leno is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carmen Reyes, sons, Christopher Reyes and wife, Yamileth Reyes, Mark Reyes and fiance, Laura Gonzalez, Erik Reyes, and Steven Reyes and fiance, Rhoda Stark, father, Joe Reyes, sisters, Henrietta Martinez, Betty Espinoza, Mary Lozano, brother, Hector Reyes, 12 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and King Arthur, his puppy. He is pre deceased by his mother, Matilde C. Reyes. Raised in the east side of Austin, he graduated from Johnston High School where he discovered his love of golf. He married Carmen, settled in south Austin and began raising a family. As a loyal Longhorn fan, he bled orange at any opportunity and was a dedicated employee of the The University for 24 years. He loved playing golf, spending time with family, watching any sports games, old western movies, listening to tejano music dancing. camping with friends and just joking around. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Ave, 78704. Burial will follow in Santa Maria de la Luz Cemetery, 7200 Circle S Rd, 78745.
