Eduardo " Lalo" Venegas, 71, of Austin, Texas passed away February 28, 2024. He was born October 27, 1952, to the late Francisco Venegas and Maria Rodriguez Venegas in Brownsville, Texas and moved to Austin at the age of five. He graduated Johnston High School and received his Associates Degree at St. Edward's University. He worked as a City of Austin Water and Wastewater Inspector and he retired as a Travis County Probation Officer. Lalo was a devoted husband and father and in addition to spending time with his family he served as a Youth Minister and was an avid deer hunter. Lalo is survived by his wife; Gladys, children; Kimberly Ramirez and her husband, Richard Ramirez, Jr., Sonia Venegas-Galvan and her husband, Luis Galvan, Edward Venegas and his wife, Denise Limon-Venegas, foster daughter: Victoria Barr, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother; Alfredo Venegas and his mother in law: Nelda Cisneros.
