Victor Carr was born on January 14, 1955 to Woody Dukes and Susie Carr in San Marcos, Texas. He was the third child born to Susie Carr.

Victor was a resident of Austin, Texas. He attended Austin Independent School District and graduated from Johnston High School, Austin, Tx. Upon graduating, Victor joined the United States Air Force where he dedicated 12 years of service in the Electrical Engineer Field. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and went on to graduate from Austin Community College with an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering. Victor accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at True Light Missionary Baptist Church and later converted his beliefs faithfully to the Muslim Religion. He was a beloved Father, who lived his life to the fullest. He loved to challenge anyone to a good game of dominoes, spades or chess. Victor love to help anyone in need, shared a great passion for his family and friends.

On early Saturday morning, May 18, 2019, Victor was called home.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents Woody Dukes and Susie Carr, sisters: Blanche Turner, Vashti Chambers, and brothers: George Ardie Clark, Jessie Carr, Byron Carr, and Johnny Carr.

Victor leaves in Gods hands to cherish precious memories his partner of 30 years Sharon Cleveland, Austin, Tx, Children: Victor Carr Jr. (Shannon), Jason Carr, Chadwick Carr, Chase Carr, Daughter: Victoria Carr, all of Austin Tx: Two Sisters: Donna Fillmore, Austin, Tx, Vanessa Bibbs (Melvin) Austin, Tx, Brother: Kenneth Carr (Norvelene), Kyle, Tx: Two Step Children: Felicia and Brandon Cleveland, Austin, Tx : Seven Grandchildren Austin, Tx, and host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and friends.

There will be a visitation at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, from 6 PM to 8 PM on Saturday May 25, 2019. A service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday May 28, 2019 at Harrell's. He will be buried at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio on Tuesday May 28, 2019 at 1:15 PM.
