Ramon Cortez passed away on October 12, 2017. He was born on July 13, 1954 in Austin, Texas to Gerardo and Maria Antonia Cortez. Ramon was a professional printer, avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Pete Cortez.

Ramon is survived by his son, Julius Cortez; grandson, Nicholas Cortez; sisters, Anita C. Moreno (husband Manuel), Magdalena Cortez, Rosie Cortez; nieces and nephews.

Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Dolores Catholic Church.

Interment to follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park.
