
Our beloved Robert Briseno Pineda, age 71, resident of Austin, was unexpectedly called to the side of our Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 25, 2021. He is reunited with his parents, Andrew Pineda and Beatrice Lily Briseno Salazar; and his brother, Ernest Pineda. Robert is survived by his two children, Robert Pineda, Jr., and Charlotte Pineda; his five precious grandchildren, Rebecca Pineda, Alexandra Pineda, Madison Martinez, Trinity Avila, Thomas Pineda; his three sisters, Marie Pineda, Christina Lopez, and her spouse, Elias, Patsy Zubia; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 East Ninth Street, Austin, Texas. Mr. Pineda will be laid to rest following Mass at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. Rosary will be live-streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate. Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries. Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
