Deacon Robert Espinosa, 67, met his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Kind and gentle soul, loving husband, father, grandfather, godfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, he will be remembered for his devotion and service to God, family, parish, and community. Robert served as a Deacon for 13 years at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. As a Park Ranger, he thoroughly enjoyed his work as a Volunteer Coordinator for the National Park Service.

He is predeceased by his parents, Francisco and Juanita Espinosa, sister Susan, and brother Demetrio. He is survived by his cherished wife of 42 years, Alice; daughter Laura and husband Art; son Jason and wife Candace; granddaughter Sophia; brothers, Jesse, Frank Jr., Ruben, Domingo, Fred; sisters, Maria Teresa, Maria Louisa, Pauline, Gloria, Avelina, Margaret, Martha; godchildren and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will begin on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 5:30 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, located at 9883 Marbach Road, San Antonio, Texas. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with internment to follow at Mission Park South on 1700 S.E. Military Drive, San Antonio, Texas. Services are under the direction of Castle Ridge Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 9883 Marbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78245.
