Ruben Clay Brown was born on March 30, 1947 to John Henry and Eula Mae Brown in Austin, Texas.
Ruben attended Austin public schools. At an early age, Ruben found Christ and lived his life as such.
Ruben was self-employed continuing the family mechanic shop, where he owned and operated Brown's Garage until his health failed.
Generally you can find Ruben doing what he loved which was working on cars, fishing, and hanging out on the
family property with friends and family. Ruben also had a passion for music which led him to play the
drums in a band.
Proceeded in death by his parents John Henry and Eula Mae Brown, Brothers: Cliff and John, Sister:
Helen and Son: Ruben Jr. and daughter: Renee Michelle.
Rueben leaves to cherish his memories surviving spouse: Norma Brown, Sons Wesley (Tamika), Cameron (Amber)
and three Daughters: Rita N. Bunton, Keshia Brown, Tanya Brown(Markeith) and Briana (Ashley). Grandchildren include
Ashley Smart, Kashay Hargrove, Tierra Brown (Jordan), Kiera Doyle, Aaliyah, Champion, Lezah, Zoe and
Skylar. Great Grandchildren: Jaden Hargis, Raya Selby, Kamari Williams, Kali Bolden, Jaliyah Turner,
Tatum Turner, Edrick Williams and a host of nieces and nephews.
