Our father was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and a big heart. He never knew a stranger, and his work ethic was remarkable. He labored tirelessly until the very end. Josefina, his devoted wife, selflessly cared for our father, accompanying him to appointments and providing exceptional caregiving. Her compassion and dedication were unwavering. His unconditional love for his children was a beacon of warmth and comfort. No matter the hour, he selflessly made time to lend a hand or answer any question. To his grandchildren, he was more than a grandpa—he was a cherished mentor, a playmate, and a source of boundless wisdom. Jennifer, a beacon of selflessness and compassion, made an extraordinary choice: she donated her kidney to her beloved father. Despite the inherent challenges, Jennifer’s unwavering commitment was fueled by unconditional love. Her act of kindness not only saved her father’s life but also exemplified the profound bond between parent and child. For him, love was not merely a word; it was a constellation of moments shared with Jackie, Eric, Crystal, and Jennifer. Their names were whispered prayers, a sacred mantra that anchored him to love’s eternal shores.
Sunny and Linda Verver, steadfast companions on life’s winding journey, etched their names into the chapters of our father’s story. Their friendship, like a well-worn path, guided him through seasons of joy and sorrow. Thank you for being there for our Dad lifting him up with prayers.
Lalo will be deeply missed by all who knew him he had a profound impact on those around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those he touched
