Amelia Cervantes - Class Of 1967 VIEW PROFILE

Our beloved Amelia Cervantes Hinojosa, age 73 years, and resident of Del Valle and Austin was born into Eternal Life on Thursday, July 15, 2021. She is reunited with her parents, Domingo Cervantes and Amelia Soto; her brothers, Jose Cervantes and Domingo Cervantes, Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Rudy Moreno. Amelia is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Rosalio Hinojosa; her son, Francisco Rosalio Hinojosa, and his spouse, Nickie; her adopted children, Sylvia Salazar, and her spouse, Benny, and Charlie Alvarez, and his spouse, Leticia; her grandchildren, Stephanie Lizette Hinojosa, Alejandro Cuellar, Johnathan Cervantes, Jamie Cervantes, Lisa Ornelas, and her spouse, Arthur, Estela Solozano, Anna Ozorio, and her spouse, Jose, Angelica Martinez, and her spouse, Xavier, Joe Martinez, Adana Carmona, Jr., Frank Hinojosa, Jr., Israel Hinojosa, Ricky Martinez; numerous great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Alvino Cervantes, and his spouse, Vera; her sister, Dominga Moreno; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - East side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 East Second Street, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Rosay will be live-streamed for our family members and friends who will not be able to present.
