Our beloved Adelia Moreno, age 75, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth V. Moreno; father, Robert A. Moreno; sister, Maria E. Botello; and by her brother-in-law, Gustav E. Blomquist. Adelia is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Joe Moreno; nieces she raised as her own, Cecilia Rodriguez and Diana Moreno; siblings, Benjamin M. Moreno (Evelia), Amelia M. Blomquist, Jimmy V. Moreno (Lupita), Gloria A. Ramirez (Aurelio), Dora A. Granja (Alfredo), Rachel Trelles Ramirez (Amador); as well as numerous other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S First St., Austin, Texas. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2022, at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin, Texas 78741. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. Rosary will be live-streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate.
