ESCOBAR, Frances Olvera

(1947-2014)



Our beloved Frances Olvera Escobar, age 67, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 25, 2014.



Ms. Escobar is survived by her son, Christopher Olvera and his wife, Laura; siblings, Rose Ellis, Mary Olvera, Patricia Minjarez, Rita Tamayo, Dorothy Campbell (John), Joseph Richard Olvera, and Margaret Velasquez. Ms. Escobar also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren Christian, Makayla, Isaiah, and Robert; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Rhoda Olvera and siblings, Martin Olvera, Paul Olvera, Robert Olvera, and Gloria Lopez.



Visitation will be Friday, January 2, at 1:00 pm with recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street (East). The funeral service will take place Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel. Scattering in be in Colorado Springs, Colorado at a later date.
