Henry Martinez Pineda passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2014 in his hometown of Austin, Texas at the age of 66.

John Albert Pineda and Guadalupe Martinez Pineda welcomed Henry, their first son, on October 13, 1948 in Austin, Texas. Henry married Lucille Ann Vasquez, his wife of forty four years, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church on October 2, 1970. For over twenty years Henry was a dedicated worker of Kmart. In the remaining years of life, Henry worked as an insurance agent before retiring in 2009.

Henry is survived by his immediate family of four: his wife Lucille, his son Henry Lee, and his two daughters Rosalie and Stephanie. Henry is also survived by his loving sisters and brothers: Olga, Helena (Dina), Maria (Chicky), Manuel and Alfred. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Charlie, Martin, and John.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Celebration will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 30, 2014 at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest with Rev. Fr. Alberto Borruel, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
