Obituary for John M. Vera

VERA – John Manuel Vera, age 62 of Woodstock, died June 21, 2010. Mr. Vera was born in Austin, Texas to the late Mike G. and Maria L. Vera. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Vera of Woodstock; daughters, Maggie Vera and Maria Vera, both of Woodstock; son, Mike Vera of Woodstock; sisters, Yolanda Ortega, Mary Linda Medellin, Minerva Stassek and Carol Beverwyck; brothers, Raymond Hernandez, Jr., Mike Vera, Larry Vera and Carlos Vera; grandchild, Alana Vera; several nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Magdelena M.
