Our hearts are heavy with sadness at the passing of our beloved Mama Grace. She died peacefully on July 9, 2016 surrounded by her family. Grace Z. McAfee was born on November 27, 1947 in Gonzales, TX.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Juan Zavala & Elida N. Magallanez and brother, Paul Magallanez.

Grace is survived by her husband, Walter McAfee; son, Christopher Ray Rocha; brothers, John F Zavala (Estella), and Peter Magallanez; sisters, Carmen Galindo (John), Bertha Nuncio, and Mary Lou Delgado (Jose); five nieces, five nephews, three great nieces, four great nephews, three great-great nieces, and three great-great nephews.

The pallbearers will be John A. Zavala, Michael Patino, Nicholas O`Neill, Jason Fowler, Jose Delgado, and Paul Magallanez.

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday July 13, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. The interment will be at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
