Our beloved Jaime Reyes Garcia, age 63, lifelong resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. He is reunited with his parents, Frank C. and Albina Reyes Garcia; and his brother, Raul Garcia. Jaime is survived by his step-children, Ana M. Hernandez and Michael Smith; his grandchildren, Cadence and Elena; his siblings, Albina Marie Garcia, Frank Garcia, Jr., and his wife, Faye, Fred R. Garcia, and his wife, Carmen, Linda G. Reyes, and her husband, Benigno, Alice G. Walker, and her husband, Christopher; a host of loving nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends. Visitation for Jaime will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 East Second Street, Austin, Texas. Committal will follow at Santa Maria Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
