Corliss R. Dillard was born December 25, 1955 in Houston, Tx. To Leon “Mac” Dillard and Donna Jo Edmondson. She was Donna Jo’s first born of three children. She was a graduate of Johnston High School class of 1974. She started a bible study with her friends John and Hjardist Baldwin and they continued to meet faithfully each week for over 20 years. Corliss worked many years for the State Bar of Texas as a Lawyer Referral Specialist.
Known for her fashion and diva style, love of people, giving advice (telling you what to do lol), getting together for gatherings, having parties and a good time.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Leon “Mac” Dillard and Donna Jo Edmondson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two siblings. Her Sister, Mimi Hastings and husband Harris Hastings. Her Brother, Anthony Johnson and wife Brenda Johnson. Her Nieces and Nephews, Chanel Bridges, Juilian Hastings, Tanesia Johnson, (children, Christopher and Christian Munoz-Ortiz) Akeem Johnson, (children, A’mari Dent, Orlando and Juliana Johnson) A.J. Johnson, (child, Ta’niyah Johnson) Ashanti Johnson, (children, Alayha Turner and Kodi Treadwell) and Kevin Ketchum. Special play daughter, Tabitha Leak and her children, Alexander, Mactavia, Traeshaun, Tyerin and Tavion Leak. Many special friends and coworkers who she loved dearly.
