Our beloved Gloria T. Rodriguez, age 64, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernardo and Ysabel Rodriguez and her sister, Yolanda Rodriguez. Gloria was a stranger to no one. She lovingly gave her time to help any one in need. Recipients of her services say before they could finish expressing needed assistance she was on the phone making inquiries. Gloria worked 25 years at the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation, most recently as a Program Specialist in the Compliance Division/Boiler Program. She was loved and respected by many co-workers throughout the State of Texas and beyond. She will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Gloria is survived by her brother and sisters, Ben Rodriguez (Stella), Marie T. Rodriguez, and Liz Moreno; her brother-in-law, Robert Rodriguez; several nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Serving as honored pallbearers will be Ruperto Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez, Ana Rodriguez, Cristina Rodriguez, Brandon Garza, and Pedro Antonio Maqueda. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 with Recitation of Holy Rosary and Scripture Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Mendoza Guadalupe Cemetery, 183 N., Mendoza, Texas. Services will be live-streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate.
