John Perez

John (Pops) Rosales Perez, Jr. passed away peacefully on August 11, 2023. He was 64 years young.

John was born on December 5, 1958, in Austin, Texas. Although he lived all his life in Waco, Texas, he met his lovely wife Teresa Perez in California, where he learned to speak Spanish just for her. They lived there long enough to have all three of their children born in California.

Later in 1990, he moved his family to Waco, Texas where he lived out the rest of his life. John was a business owner, chef, construction builder, you name it - he did it. His passion was shooting pool, he was one heck of a player.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Estrada and brother, Joseph Lee Marquez.

He is survived by his father, John Rosales Perez, Sr. and wife, Teresa Perez; his one and only son, John Daniel Perez; daughters, Terry Perez, and Angelica Perez and husband, Patrick Nevarez; sisters; 4 grandsons and 5 granddaughters, and lots of nieces and nephews.
