Our beloved Juan Medina, age 65, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 14, 2020. He was preceded by his parents, Serapio and Valentina Medina. Juan is survived by his wife of 25 years, Francelia Lira Medina; their children, Anthony Ybarra and his wife, Kathy, John Albert Medina and his wife, Heather, Nick Medina and his wife, Lucia, Nicole Medina, Jesus Suarez and his wife, Linda, and Jonathan Medina; grandchildren, CTR2 Anthony Rene Ybarra, stationed in Hawaii with the U.S. Navy, Ariana Kristine Ybarra, Chance Anthony Medina, Jordan Dawn Medina, Nyla Maria Medina, Cayden Nicolas Medina, Malia Kaylee Medina, Isaiah Eden Gonzales, Adalia Jocelyn Suarez, Anyka Leinny Brihanna Garcia, and Elier "Lenny" Suarez; his siblings, Mary Helen Montez and her husband, Victor, Liz Ybarra and her husband, Andrew, Sandy Contreras and her husband, Sammy, Esther Lucio and her husband, Ysidro, Alice Ruedas and her husband, Pete, and Janie Ramirez and her husband, Robert, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery, Hwy 183 N. Frontage Rd., Lockhart, Texas.
