Doris Estelle Warden Sanders Doris Estelle Warden Sanders died April 3, 2010 in Austin, Texas. Doris was born January 20, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas to Carlos and Estelle Wosnig Warden. She lived the last three years of her life in Barton Hills Assisted Living. Doris attended the University of Texas at Austin while her daughters were in high school. She became a home economics and child development teacher in A.I.S.D. Doris enjoyed oil painting, reading, gardening, the beach, and travel. She traveled to various locations overseas and in the United States. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Sanders, Jr., and her brother, Werner C. Warden. Doris is survived by her two daughters, Claudia Louise Sanders Locke, Terry Jean Sanders, and son-in-law, Jack Wayne Locke. She was a proud grandmother to Beth Ann Locke, Stacy Gene Sanders with his wife Reneé Sheppard and their children Riley Elise, Sydney Paige, and Mackenzie Grace. Doris is survived by and enjoyed the company of her loving friend and sister-in-law, Mildred Frazar Warden. We miss you!
