Our beloved Joe Arthur Carmona, age 61, resident of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Granado and Arthur Arroyo. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Rosita Carmona; his siblings, Adolph Carmona Sr., Joe Granado, and Dorothy Granado; his beloved children, Lauren Luna (Adolph Luna Jr.), Marissa Flores (Michael Flores), and Joseph Arthur Carmona; his grandchildren, Aiyana Luna, Levi Luna, Isabelle Flores; numerous nieces and nephews, many other loving family and friends. Pallbearers will be Michael Flores, Adolph Luna Jr., Adolph Carmona Sr., Adolph Carmona Jr., Mark Carmona, and Ruben Aleman. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be live-streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate. A limited graveside service will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries. Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
