Jeffery Andre "Shaky" Wilkins, son of Walter Lee Wilkins and the late Lillie Mae Grant-Wilkins was born October 6, 1961 in Austin, TX. He attended the public schools in Travis County and was a graduate of A.S. Johnston High School.

He professed his faith in Jesus Christ and became a member of Greater Mt. Zion under the leadership of the late Rev. Norman Bacon.

He was united in marriage to Letitia June Collins on April 26, 1980. To this union they were blessed with two sons.

Mr. Wilkins was employed by the City of Austin as a Construction Inspector. In his leisure time, he spent it with his sons and friends playing basketball or golfing. He departed this life Saturday, October 14, 2023 doing what he enjoyed.

His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife and children: Letitia J., Marquette, Garrett (Lauren) and TaShawna. His sisters Darlene Vega, Sheila Davis, Sharon Wilkins and Synda Wilkins-Qwens. His brothers Michael Wilkins and Walter Wilkins, Jr. He was blessed to have 5 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
