Roy M Campos - Class Of 1979

On February 4,1961 Roy Martinez Campos Jr was born in Austin,Tx to His parents Raul Martinez Campos and Ernestina Santa Ana Campos. July 4,2016 he passed away peacefully in Las Vegas,Nv while on vacation with his family.

Roy was a great father of 3 and a very dedicated grandfather of 12 grandchildren whom he gave his love and time too. Born and raised in Austin,Tx he was a true Austinite making friends wherever he went and it was evident with the great outpouring of support to his family at the news of his passing. A man who appreciated the sport boxing he created many memories for his family to enjoy and carry on his tradition of getting everybody together as a family and enjoying a night of boxing. A brother of two sisters whom he loved to the ends of the earth he will be greatly missed. As a brother in law his time they shared will never be forgotten. An uncle to 6 nephews he was the cool easy going uncle who would be there for them anytime. To his only niece he loved her dearly with all his heart. In the final years of Roy's life he brought peace and love everywhere he went bringing the story of his life to a peaceful end here on earth. In those final years his longtime girlfriend got too see the man he was as he created many happy times for her as well. The story of his life doesn't end with his passing,it's carried on through those who knew him well. Words cannot explain how he will be greatly missed by his family and the many friends he had in his life but one thing is known,the world lost a good man and heaven gained a good soul.

Roy is survived by his two sisters Norma J. Cobos and Lenora E. Martinez and their husbands Ben Cobos and Robert Martinez. His three children Clarice M.Campos Sarah L. Campos ( Sarah Mae) Roy F. Campos 3rd ( Pico ) and 12 grandchildren. Many cousins from his Campos and Santa Ana families. Also his longtime Austin friends Roy,Pete,Mayo,Mr.Bill,St.John,Tito,J.R. and his old best friend Heather.

Dad, words can't explain how much we are going too miss you. The tears will never stop because you meant so much to us three. Your unexpected passing made us understand how good you were too us but that was something we already knew. Till we see you again..we love you..always and forever.

Promptly following Church services Roy will be placed in final rest @ Assumption Cemetery located @3650 S.Interstate 35 Frontage Rd. Austin,Tx - 78704
