ORDER OF EVENTS
I Pre-Game Gathering
7:00 pm. Johnston alumni will gather and sit together on the LASA side of the field near the bottom of the stands at the 50 yard line.
II Pre-Game Presentations
7:15 pm. Presentations Begin Approximately at 7:15 pm.
7:30 pm Game Begins
III Pre-Half-time Gathering
About 10 minutes prior to half-time, Johnston alumni will gather on the sideline near the end-zone. (Alumni will be informed which side of the endzone to gather at the game.)
IV Half-time Show Order of Performances and Presentations
1. Northeast HS - Drill Team, Band
2. LASA-Drill Team, Band
3. Johnston HS Alumni Recognition
HALF-TIME SHOW INSTRUCTIONS:
As soon as the LASA front ensemble equipment begins clearing out of the way, Principal Crescenzi and Coach Howard and their special guests Mr. Padilla and Mrs. Salas-Garcia) gather on the home side track and begin walking to the center of the field, with all other alumni present.
PRESENTATIONS OVER PA SYSTEM:
“At this time, we have a special presentation to recognize the Johnston High
School Alumni. Please welcome to the field LASA’s Principal Stacia Crescenzi and
Athletic Coordinator Gary Howard.” STOP
● Honorees - Athlete of the Year 1969 and Quarterback for the Johnston
High School Rams Football Team Gabriel Padilla, and Highly Decorated
Multi-Sport Athlete Kimberly Salas-Garcia, JHS Class of 2006. They are also joined by other
Johnston Alumni.”
● (A brief introduction will be made about each honoree followed by the
presentation of a gift from the LASA Athletic Department.)
“And now, please enjoy a recording of the Johnston High School Fight Song. At
the end of the game, the Johnston High School song will also be played.”

Johnston Yearbooks
If you don't have a Johnston yearbook, make an appointment to visit your old Johnston library, which is now the Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA), to browse through all the Johnston yearbooks.
There are two yearbooks of the Johnston collection that are missing in the library. The missing yearbook years are 1962 and 1992. If you have one of these yearbooks and are willing to donate either of the yearbooks, please contact the librarian.
LASA's Johnston Oral History Project
During the past two years, an Advanced Placement Class at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy conducted an oral history project to interview ex-Johnstonites about their experinces while they attended Johnston High School.
